Iran's first vice President, Russian PM call for expansion of two-sided collaboration
The two leaders met Friday in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, on the sidelines of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) summit, discussing regional and international issues of shared interest.
Aref emphasized the need to strengthen bilateral ties in addressing regional challenges and expressed Iran’s full readiness to expand cooperation with Russia on bilateral, multilateral, and regional levels. He highlighted energy, tourism, and transportation sectors, along with transit corridor projects, under the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement signed in January.
He also called for sharing scientific and technological advancements and urged regional countries to pursue multilateral strategies to ensure security and stability without outside interference.
